Realtor - Bob goryl

Bob Goryl spent 36 years as an educator with one purpose in mind - helping students achieve their goals. Bob is brining that same sense of purpose to his second career as a commercial REALTOR at the Muskegon office of Woodland Realty.

My sense of accomplishment comes from helping people achieve something they are striving for,” said Bob, a lifelong Muskegon resident. “For many years, I helped students. Now I have the opportunity to help my Woodland clients with their needs.”

Bob spent nearly his entire education career in the Oakridge Public Schools System, retiring in 2002 as principle of Oakridge High School. A friend, knowing Bob’s ability to connect with people, suggested he try a second career in real estate. Bob worked in residential sales for 3 years before joining Woodland Realty.

Besides a likeable personality, Bob brings to his Woodland job a patient but persistent approach that serves his clients well: “Glitches and setbacks don’t phase me. I work through those for my clients because I’m more concerned about how they fare in the end than I am about my financial gain.”

Away from real estate, Bob spends time with his wife, Lori, engaged in boating, traveling, and visiting their 2 grown daughters Kristen nd Dana. Bob is also an avid tennis player and golfer. He volunteers on behalf of the Old Newsies, a Muskegon organization, which sells newspapers for donations during the Christmas season to benefit children who might not otherwise receive gifts.
